One of my regular haunts as often have meetings in the area this hotel is well placed for most of the attractions in London with grear tube connections and many things in walking distance.

I usually get a room on the ground floor as the lifts are so busy in the mornings but this time I was on the second floor. The room was quite small but clean. Not much of a view but again its a good base so not that concerned.

Just a shower in the room but it was a decent one although I found out in the morning that my shower gel was empty which should have been picked up on by housekeeping but I do stay there a lot and its the first time it has happened there.

The bar and restaurant is on floor -1 so not much signal down there but there is a free basic WiFi or you can upgrade to Ultimate for £5 for 24 hours. This wasnt working when I first tried but I went to reception and they rebooted the router and all sorted in five minutes.

I went out for a wnader on the South Bank in the early evening. During the summer it is like being abroad but it was a littoe damp on this occaision but it is still vibrant and worth a look.

Breakfast was decent although the mushrooms were cool and the eggs maybe a little overdone but I have had far worse.

Overall a great place to stay if you want to explore London ans expecially Westminster. It is also a great base to wanter down the river to the city, Borough Market and Tower Bridge. Location wise you cant beat it which is why I stay there often as wherever my meeting is I can get there reasonable quickly on food or using the tube!
