I visited Spain in between Christmas and new year to perform a role I have been putting off for a number of years, my last duty as a son and scatter my mum’s ashes in the place we scattered my dads a number of years before. This hotel was overlooked by my parents apartment when it was builts and was the reason they sold it if I am honest.

The Hotel is situated to the far side of Fuengirola from Malaga airport but the Renfe train was only £3.20 into the town and an Uber cost me around £7 from there, I could have walked it but I had a case and a rucksack so opted for ease.

The hotel is very comfortable and the reception area is impressive. There is a bar to the left hand side of this photo at the back with a terrace.

The pool would have been alittle cold for this time of year as was the sea andI had a storm the first night so the beach had an impregnatable barrier of bamboo so didnt get chance to have a dip!

Breakfast at the IPV caters for everyone and the egg chef has been there 22 years, i remeber him when i cam here with my parents over the years and beleive me they are the best eggs and omlettes ever!

The IPV is a fantstic hotel. Great to get away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to the nightlife when you want it! Would recommend it to anyone and do!
